Music is a universal language. People create it, listen to it, analyze it, and give a review about it. For many people, music is a passion; it’s an emotional outlet, a source of inspiration, and a way to connect. People even get inspired by making their music at their homes. We have students who make music and share it around the building so that it gets spread around.
One such student is senior Federico Goldmann Ziliani, known as F3D3. From a young age, he dreamed of being famous. At just 10 years old, he started a YouTube channel, but it wasn’t until he discovered music that he found his real passion. His first song, Farewell, marked the beginning of his journey as an artist. Each of his songs carries a different meaning, with many centered around heartbreak and personal emotions. However, he emphasizes that his music is more about how he’s feeling in the moment rather than specific experiences. His advice for new songwriters is, “In the beginning, you may not sound good, but if you keep on practicing, make lyrics, and pursue music then you’ll get better over time, don’t give up and keep going if you want to keep wanting to do music.” His favorite song that he enjoyed making, it was Japan (Nariyoshi Version), and Embarrassed.

Another studdent artist, senior Essence Naushun Brandon – known as Baby G – grew up surrounded by music. It was always a part of his life, and one day, he realized, “If I can make my music, then I might as well try my hardest.” The first song he made, Opp Patrol, was with his friend Zack. If he had to introduce someone to his music, he would start with Switchin Up. For Baby G, the most rewarding part about making music is looking back on the progress he has made and seeing how much he has improved over time. He credits F3D3 for helping start his music career.
Both artists prove that anyone with a passion for music can create something meaningful. While the journey may start with challenges, persistance and dedication lead to growth. As F3D3 and Baby G show, the key to success is to keep going and never stop creating.
