Here at Galileo Magnet High School, the Beta Club has launched a winter coat drive to benefit a local shelter. The drive will run from December 4th to December 13th, and donations will go directly to those in need this winter. If you have any gently used winter coats that you no longer need, please drop them off in Mrs. Murphy’s classroom before the 13th. All sizes are welcome, from children’s coats to adult sizes.
This initiative is just one example of how Galileo shows its commitment to supporting the community and helping those in need. The Beta Club is encouraging students, faculty, and staff to get involved and make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Whether you have one coat to donate or several, every contribution counts and will help ensure that more people stay warm during the cold winter months.
For more information or if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Mrs. Murphy or a Beta Club member. Let’s work together to spread warmth and kindness this season!
